The Stockroom Assistant is our KIKO Ambassador responsible for delivering effective stock management whilst driving the Company KPI’s through the maintenance and availability of products in store.
STOCKROOM MANAGEMENT
– Responsible for overall coordination and evaluation of the Stockroom
– Replenishes stock on the sales floor as needed
– Conducts on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members to ensure adherence to safety standards, such as proper stacking/ packing techniques
– Plans layout of stockroom and other storage areas
– Approves all inventory adjustments made by stockroom staff
– Responsible for monitoring, continuous improvement and reporting performance to upper management
PROCEDURES & POLICIES EXECUTION
– Guarantee that store is compliant with all KIKO standards
– Guarantee KIKO standards and procedures as defined in KIKO STORE BOOK and explained by the Store Manager.
– Contribute to maintain qualitative standards in terms of image (layout, merchandising and proper housekeeping of the Store) and quality standards of KIKO Customer Care.
Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory management role in a Retail environment is necessary - minimum 1 year
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes or merchandise
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

One of the Dutypoint group divisions, Flowtech Water Solutions, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Wigan. Flowtech are a water services and water booster specialist, working nationally with local councils, design engineers, mechanical contractors and end users.
Working in a team of 5, you will mainly be picking and packing orders, liaising with Manufacturing and dealing with couriers to arrange despatch of goods to customers.
There will also be some basic computer work and you will be responsible for maintaining ISO standards, ensuring serial numbers are logged accurately, inputting courier details and preparing courier paperwork.
You must be physically fit and able as there will be some lifting involved. Experience on machinery such as pallet trucks or forklift trucks is advantageous, however this is not essential as training can be provided. A friendly individual with a can do approach is sought.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (30 minute lunch break; 15 minute morning break; 15 minute afternoon break).

The Responsibilities of the Warehouse Assistant / Driver
Strong FLT experience - Reach & Counterbalance Forklifts are used within our warehouse.
Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
Ensure all orders are received, accurately and in accordance with requirements.
This also includes liaising with third party delivery companies, together with picking of orders and loading of all vehicles.
Working with the Management Team to ensure that matters which may affect any physical aspect of the Warehouse building are being dealt with. I.e. if you can see a problem to inform Management or deal with accordingly.
Where required, deal with all matters pertaining to the quality control aspects within the warehouse environment.

Working closely with the Warehouse Management team to ensure the business objectives are met, working alongside the Service and Distribution departments. This is required due to the high level of reliance that each of these positions relates to the other and therefore it is important that a close working relationship is maintained throughout.
At times, when the business requires, you will also have to load and drive deliveries to site / customer helping the master technician in installing and assembling the furniture.
