Location: 2 Lower Cherwell Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5AY
Pay Rate: 12.26
Shift times: Monday - Friday shifts between 07:00 - 17:00 (Working 24 hours a week over 3 days, but could go to 5 days when needed)
Duration: ASAP - ONGOING
Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Banbury for a Store Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start with potential to go perm for the right candidate!
Requirements of the role:
- General Store Assistant Duties
- Must be able to drive
- Retail - Clerical and Stock Control Duties
Good customer service skills are essential. Candidates will also ideally have retail experience. DIY experience/knowledge would be preferred but not essential. Candidates need to have a flexible attitude, duties include serving customers, cash handling, computerised till operation, uploading and stocking displays.
Your responsibilities:
- Take orders over the telephone
- Computerised till operation
- Contact customers for orders
- Write customer orders and advice notes
- Carry out general clerical duties as requested by Store Manager
- Forward returns, completed delivery notes etc to Head Office
- Operate Company's stock control system
