Aureos are hiring for a Site Supervisor to join our team based in Woolpit. This is a permanent office/site-based role
Primary Tasks and Duties:
- To ensure compliance with Aureos Health & Safety Policy, Method Statements, client Code of Practice, guidance notes & NRSWA CH 8.
- To ensure that all staff are set to work in a safe manner and that all necessary safety measures are in place i.e. signing & guarding (on poles), exclusion zones, CH8, barrier systems & traffic management.
- To Liaise with the SAP and ensure that the works are started and completed within the planned supply interruption timescale. Ensure that the Project Manager is informed of any potential overrun.
- To liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that each day’s programme is achievable with the resources available.
- To ensure that all staff fully understands the day’s work and that all achievable, operational targets are met.
- To ensure that chargehands and all staff are furnished with work instructions, risk assessment, Smart Start, utility records, schematics RAMS etc. for the task in hand.
- To ensure the Charge hand and team hold the requisite certifications & authorisations for the task in-hand.
- To maintain a site presence at durations throughout the execution of the works to ensure the programme is completed on time and in a safe manner
- To escalate any accident/incident within 30mins of occurrence and when safe to do so, to your line manager.
- To ensure that all relevant tests (polarity / earth loop impedance / phase rotation etc.) are carried out and recorded by the Charge hands
- To ensure the pole sheet is completed & signed as compliant via the Charge hand and counter signed via you.
- To ensure the flow of ALL paperwork is effectively maintained from office to site and vice versa. This includes pole sheets, photos timesheets (signed), briefings, vehicle & plant checklists, risk assessments, polarity sheets etc. and that all information is accurate.
- To ensure that the quality of constructed works is complaint and any NCR’s are rectified before team leave site.

- Have very good written and spoken English skills.
