Purpose of the role:
The Operational Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production, packaging, and distribution of in-house packed cutlery. This role also includes managing equipment operations, ensuring efficiency, safety compliance, and team productivity. The supervisor ensures quality control, inventory management, and coordination with various departments to meet operational demands.

- Supervise daily operations of operational teams.
- Train and develop staff to maintain quality and operational standards.
- Ensure staff understand security function of packing and sealing requirements.
- Plan work allocation to meet deadlines and maximize productivity.
- Manage labour resources and oversee stock control with the Shift Manager and Equipment Manager.
- Maintain quality control and compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Optimize workflow, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Lead team meetings, document operations, and track performance.
- Investigate incidents and drive continuous operational improvements.
Role Specifications:
- Provide supervisory experience in packaging, equipment management, or a similar leadership role overseeing a team.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing background is highly advantageous
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal and active listening
- Attention to details
- Adaptability to last minute changes and challenges
- Good organisational skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of operational processes, stock management and compliance standards
- Detail-orientated with a proactive approach to process improvement

The successful candidate will be ensuring the site is in compliance with all aspects of the contract, including Statutory Aspects, QHSE aspects and the Company logbook systems, thus ensuring all aspects of compliance are satisfied.
**Role Summary:**
-Demonstrate integrity and ensure compliance with all business wide policy and strategy through QHSE Management System Audit
-Provide the administrative guidance for the whole site and team members in terms of compliance
-Manage all record keeping on compliance activities (L8, Loler, PSSR, Gas safe etc)
-Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract
-Aide in the development and maintenance of the training strategy including project delivery where required
-Ensure the achievement of agreed functional standards and service level agreement by working in collaboration with account leadership team peers
-Compile and maintain reporting and performance monitoring, analysis, and review against established metrics to coach and educate account-based staff
-Support effective business communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to management
-Assist as necessary with reviews of existing Policies, Procedures, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
-Proactively involved in the client management of SHEP's (Safety, Health & Environment Process) to ensure relevant management processes are in place and being adhered to
**Experience Required:**
-A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills

-Organised self-motivated individual
-Flexibility to adapt to fast changing site
**Desirable**
-Ideally experience of CBRE systems due to time scales involved

The successful candidate is responsible for the coordination of FM & Technical Services to site to meet SLA requirements and key performance indicators.
**Role Summary:**
-Primary focus on delivery of all FM Operations in accordance with KPI & Output measurements
-Support / Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
-Comply with QHSE requirements as outlined within the SLA
-Act as a part of site emergency team i.e. Fire Marshall, as required for emergency control activities
-Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies in relevant books / documentation
-Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate H&S processes and client HSE standards
-Conduct monthly self-assessment SLA checks in support of quarterly contract performance requirements
-Responsible for the image and visual standards of the site/s taking ownership of any issues or concerns
-Provide flexible support to the FM Operation areas as appropriate including Mail / Goods Inwards / Reprographics / Records Retention
-Check that printers and photocopiers are supplied with paper and change toner cartridges when required
-Monitor and maintain stationery levels
-Deliver goods received to correct destination / person
-Co-ordinate site waste and recycling arrangements
-Carry out statutory fire testing and associated checks
-Raise Purchase Orders for goods or services as required
-Approve invoices, goods received notes and statements for payment purposes
-Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns, ensuring customer is kept appraised at all times
-Act as deputy in the absence of line management
-Provide and arrange cover for the operational team as defined by line management
-Other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
**Experience Required:**
