The Supervisor role
I'm working with a leading highways contractor who have several projects growing and in that they are looking to add a Supervisor to their team.
The works you'll be involved in could vary from highways improvements to public realm works. You'll have experience as a Supervisor and be able to manage your own workload and control several gangs of operatives.
Your background and experience could vary, but being from a Supervisor role or experience leading teams would be massively advantageous.
Competencies required would be CSCS, SSSTS and if you've got a NRSWA that's great but not essential.

Roles and responsibilities of the Supervisor
- Ability to effectively plan and manage the works for 2 gangs or more, including self.

- Keeps a daily site diary to record site progress, deliveries, plant etc.
- Manage the safe system of work and implement control measures to manage safety onsite.
- Deliver an excellent level of performance with tasks, understanding design drawings and constructing to a high standard.
