Strong background in electrical & mechanical engineering

Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (Days & Nights)

Hours: 11:45am - 1pm
Pay Rate: Starting at 14 an hour (pay dependant on level of experience and length of placement )
We are currently recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Hengoed area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued part of a school team, helping to ensure children have a safe, happy, and well-supervised lunchtime experience.
What we are looking for
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual
Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability and a commitment to safeguarding
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Midday Supervisory Assistant Duties include:
- To supervise children during the lunch break
- To help children eating their school dinner or packed lunch
- To supervise children in the playground
- To supervise children in their classes during inclement weather
- To play games and undertake activities with the children
- To deal with minor accidents and injuries and administer some First Aid
- To manage children's behaviour positively
- To maintain confidentiality
- To safeguard all pupils

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to further their experience of working with children. We are looking for someone who can quickly form good relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
