Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Implant, you'll drive dynamic supply chain initiatives by fostering collaborative relationships with one of our key customers. Your mission is to elevate the customer experience by developing joint supply chain business plans and addressing service impact areas. You'll maintain best-in-class performance across our UK supply chain, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will do this through a robust digital capability, using data and insights to drive the right solutions, whilst also thinking where digital technology can enhance our customer offering
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a genuine collaborative relationship with your customer, then enables a transparent and proactive WOW. Taking the partnership from strength to strength
- Efficiently manage internal and external stakeholders to maximize key customer metrics like Inbound Service, In-Store Availability, and Customer Stock Holding.
- Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to manage baseline forecasting and plan promotional activities, ensuring optimal customer stockholding.
- Think outside the box when it comes to your customer through a digital first mindset- constantly thinking and exploring how this can enhance our relationship and customer offering
- Develop strategies to mitigate long-term supply chain shortages, enhancing inbound service performance and overall efficiency.
- Analyze customer systems to identify supply trends and take action to resolve issues.
- Provide operational support to customer service by resolving failed orders and addressing risks to promotional SKU deliveries.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 1 year supply chain experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis
- Collaborative and resilient relationship manager
- Comfortable presenting to a wide range of customers and stakeholders
- Driver's license essential

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner
- Plan inbound deliveries to meet customer requirements whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

- Proven Supply Chain Planner experience.

- Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and proficiency in using supply chain management software (ERP systems).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Our client, a highly commercial and successful business based in Banbury is currently looking to recruit a Group Supply Chain Administrator, reporting directly to the Group Supply Chain Team Leader. This position is due to an increase in workload due to ongoing acquisitions and growth.
Working hours are Monday- Thursday 08:30am- 17:00pm, Fridays 08:00am – 15:30pm and the role is fully office based.
Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Administrator is to support the Group Supply Chain Team Leader to provide the organisation with a cost-effective supply chain, where supplier on time delivery, stock availability and product quality are our main focus, using their extensive experience of planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Issuing Purchase Orders:
• Order Summary Processing (OSP), to issue Purchase Orders and Subcon Orders
• Placing orders against forecasted or Reorder Point (ROP) products
• Placing orders for all other items to demand (supplier lead time)
Expediting Purchase Orders:
• Regular contact with all suppliers to ensure deliveries are received on time and in full, and to maintain comments and due date, reflecting key supporting information
• To escalate to the Group Supply Chain Team Leader any deliveries that could lead to back orders or customer delays
Liaise with other departments, such as:
• Finance – tracking and liaising supplier payments, ensure any financial issues are smoothly and quickly resolved
• Warehouse – to ensure the smooth flow of material into the business and answer any product queries
• Sales – keeping the team up-to-date with any price increases
• Operations - Updates on inbound supplier deliveries
General Purchasing:
• Non conforming deliveries (NCD's) raised and closed in a timely manner
• Docuware invoice queries to be resolved within 48 hours
• Checking all order confirmations match
• Weekly review of all supplier back orders, and customer back orders to see if we can pull orders forward
• Keep electronic filing up to date
• Complete purchase orders (where agreed) as per schedule
• Maintain group availability target of 95%
Skills and Profile Required
• Previous administration experience (essential)
