**Job Description:**
You will provide tactical **Supply Chain (SC) support to UK Fixed Wing activities** and contracts utilizing Supply Chain Support Best Practice. Responsible to the Fixed Wing Major Projects Manager. You will be aware of and adhere to Boeings Go4Zero H&S Policies and Security Protocols.
**Location:** **Birmingham, UK** **onsite job.**
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate the receipt, storage and issuing of material through the on-site warehouse (working through the other on-site warehouse team members).
+ Ensure complete compliance to Inwards Processing (IPR) requirements including:- Physical segregation of stock.- Recording import clearance information and tracking usage data to highlight items at risk of breaching IPR timelines.- Reporting out to senior stakeholders.- Working cross-functionally to ensure tasks are completed in time to ensure compliance.- Understanding the a/c production plans and how IPR is impacted by changes to this plan.
+ Maintain awareness of upcoming shipments to provide insight into likely future Import Duty incurred.
+ Provide out of hours service as required.
+ Provide shift cover (early / late) as the team grows in size.
**Other Warehousing Responsibilities:**
+ Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items.
+ Accurately report, communicate and escalate non-conformances.
+ Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse / storage areas.
+ Pick, pack, and ship orders to customers in a timely manner and in line with aircraft priorities.
+ Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
+ Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Conduct distribution activities in line with Supply Chain processes and business support needs.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
+ Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times in accordance with 6S and Boeing Policy.
+ Assist with other warehouse & distribution duties at all times.
+ Maintain and store accurate records of required documents as required for auditing purposes.
+ Efficiently prioritise all tasks and work to best support the business needs.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with support organisations to ensure a seamless support is provided.
+ Conduct Supply Chain Support activities in line with Business Unit Processes and Procedures.
+ Review and amend Processes and Procedures when gaps/errors are identified during the day to day activities.
+ Undertake training and qualifications as required by the business to meet the business needs.
+ Mentor junior members of the team in Supply Chain Best Practices and help resolve minor issues as they become experienced.
+ Develop and support Key Performance Indicators Metrics to measure performance inline Warehouse and Distribution tasks.
+ Provide Subject Matter Expertise and support to internal stakeholders for long-range Program requirements.
+ Host meetings pertinent to the success of assigned RAAs.
+ Support ad-hoc tasks allocated by management to support business requirements.

Essential skills / experience include:
- A hands on, flexible and adaptable approach with a positive attitude

Berry Recruitment are working in partnership within an elite client known for their significant success and respected reputation based in Abingdon for a Supply Chain Administrator.
To provide a full support in the administration of various databases relating to product information, purchase orders, shipment tracking and stock adjustments.
Role: Supply Chain Administrator
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 - Monday - Friday
Supply Chain Administrator Responsibilities
- Using Sage 200 for purchase order and shipment data entry
- Accurate and timely data entry to support business reporting.
- Checking Sales Contracts from Suppliers correlate with Purchase Order requirement.
- Administration of both electronic and paper-based filing systems
- Booking deliveries into Sage 200 system
- Accurate and timely to enable visibility of warehouse stock.
- Action stock adjustments and transfers in Sage 200 based on instructions from warehouse operations teams.
- Adhoc support within the Supply Team department or other teams in the business
Supply Chain Administrator Requirements
- Able to work to deadlines, have excellent attention to detail and be a confident communicator.
- The role has many areas of responsibility and requires daily liaison with key teams including the Chinese sourcing office, sales and finance teams.
- Excellent organisational and communicational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of Sage 200 preferred
