We have strong relationships with schools and academies across the county and there is currently a high demand Supply Teachers in both Primary and Secondary Schools.
We are particularly busy in Abingdon and the surrounding areas including Didcot and Oxford. Whether you are looking for a better work life balance or the opportunity to experience lots of different schools, Supply Teachers have great flexibility with the work that they do. It is great option for both ECT's and experienced teachers. Frequently roles that are initially on supply, become long-term or permanent as you build relationships with schools.
Role of a Supply Teachers:
- To lead a class as a supply teacher and keep students on task
- Able to deliver lesson's which are pre-planned by the timetabled teacher and provide good quality handover notes at the end of the day
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff
- Comply with and implement the schools’ policies effectively
Requirements of Supply Teachers:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Recent experience as a Teacher in a mainstream Primary or Secondary Schools
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
