Support Workers – Crisis & Therapeutic Youth Care
At Paragon Social Care , we support vulnerable children during their most critical moments — whether they're facing a mental health crisis or transitioning between care placements. We provide 24/7 wrap-around, trauma-informed support in solo settings, ensuring each child feels safe, understood, and cared for.
We’re now looking for flexible, compassionate Support Workers to join our team — for both short and long-term placements.

You’ll be a consistent, therapeutic presence in a young person’s life, helping them build routine, emotional stability, and resilience.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily living support, activities, and outings
- Emotional regulation using evidence-based techniques
- Crisis management and safeguarding
- Record-keeping, appointments, and collaborative care with professionals
- Working shifts, including evenings and weekends
Whether you’ve worked in youth care, mental health, secure settings, or are new with the right mindset — we’d love to hear from you.
You must be:
- Empathetic, calm, and emotionally resilient
- Highly flexible and able to travel/stay on placement
- Committed to trauma-informed, person-centred care
- A full UK driving licence holder with your own vehicle
- Clear on an Enhanced DBS and have the Right to Work in the UK
Applications without a full UK driving licence cannot be considered.
Experience within prison services, secure setting or hospital would be a bonus as well as mental health, youth work, social care, or psychology qualifications will be a bonus.
