What you’ll bring with you
NMC/HCPC registration
Surgical scrub experience within General, Gynae, Ophthalmic, Cosmetic and Urological surgery.
Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Flexible and positive attitude

Key ResponsibilitiesPreoperative Care

Perform preoperative assessments and deliver clear patient education to prepare individuals for surgery
Intraoperative Support

Assist with preparation and setup of surgical procedures

Scrub in and provide surgical assistance when required
Postoperative Care

Carry out pre-surgery phone call checks and offer reassurance and support

Provide wound care and postoperative instructions, maintaining communication with patients via the clinic's mobile contact

Be available to answer questions or concerns during the early recovery period
Clinic Administration & Compliance

Maintain patient records with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality

Monitor clinical consumables and ensure stock is up to date

Support with daily operational tasks, including CQC-compliant checks and clinic maintenance

This is a permanent role.
Hours: 42 hours a week, including a 1-hour lunch break. Shifts are typically 6:30-15:00, 08:00-16:30, 9:00-17:30, 9:30-18:00 and 12:00-20:30.
The candidates for the Clinic Coordinator/Receptionist position need to be self-motivated and eager to learn, as well as able to take direct feedback on board that is constructive but not personal, given the busy nature of the clinic.
Clinic Coordinator / Receptionist duties:
You will need to provide all the information that the client requires to enjoy their visit to the clinic.
Meet and greet patients and ensure all the patients’ needs are met while visiting the practice

Keeping clinic areas clean and tidy and of an excellent standard
To complete all relevant administration, including scanning patient information, booking appointments, preparing templates, updating patient databases and making sure legal documents are submitted correctly
