Overview

Security Systems Engineer role at Trinity Fire & Security Systems. Location: North London. Salary: Competitive in Industry + Uncapped Engineer commission scheme.nTrinity are hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in North London. In the role, you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients' security systems. Working in North London, you will have the opportunity to obtain industry leading training and earn through our engineering commission scheme.nThe role

You will be working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineers and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.nThe key tasks include the following:nCarry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.nEffectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.nLiaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.nWork to a planned service and maintenance schedule, emergency call out requirements. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.nThe systems you will work with at Trinity

Experience in servicing and maintaining security systems to relevant British Standards.nAbility to identify all types of cable associated with security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.nA logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.nTo always provide outstanding customer service.nExcellent verbal and written communication.nWhat technical knowledge do you need?

Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of security system interfaces.nA comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of security system problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.nBasic Electrical Safety training (ECA).nWhat will Trinity give you?
