Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and documentation for architectural projects with a sustainability focus.
- Develop and manage BIM models and construction drawings using Revit.
- Ensure designs comply with building regulations and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with external consultants (structural, MEP, environmental).
- Oversee the specification of sustainable materials and systems.
- Resolve complex technical detailing and construction issues.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural technologists.
- Stay current with innovations in sustainable building technology.
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a focus on sustainable design.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and other BIM software.
- Strong knowledge of building physics, materials, and construction methods.
- Experience with BREEAM, LEED, or other green building certifications.
- Excellent technical detailing and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
