The position will include carrying out plant room installations, fault finding, repairing, replacing equipment, and assisting with pool refurbishment.
we require any potential candidates to have a minimum NQV Level 3 plumbing qualification and/or a background in heating/electrical engineering.
Although desired, previous swimming pool experience is not essential.
The successful candidate will be offered in house development including courses such as IOSH, Pool Plant Operators, CSCS, SSSTS, health and safety training, PASMA, Face fit etc.
The ideal candidate must be able to work alone, as well as part of a team, use their own initiative and be enthusiastic to learn and evolve with the industry.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Swimming Pool Engineer to join our dynamic team operating across Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial swimming pool systems in various settings, including leisure centres, hotels, and private facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- p>Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of commercial swimming pools and associated plant equipment.

Requirements
- To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- To communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
- To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- An ability to deal with children and their parents
- Level 2 swimming teaching qualification or willingness to gain qualification as training can be provided
