We are recruiting an Alarms System Implementation Specialist to join one of our clients based in Salisbury. This is a secure site, so candidates require a SC clearance. You will work with subject matter experts across Operations to understand, further develop and implement the alarm policy and procedures in line with Relevant Good Practice (RGP), understanding how these support alarm system design and management strategies, that also support the management of Major Accident Hazard (MAH) risks.
- The role will guide the development of suitable alarm systems for the business that enable fault identification and drive the necessary responses
- The Alarms System Implementation Specialist is also integral to the analysis and assessment of technical design of the alarm systems, their ongoing monitoring and measurement of performance.
- The Specialist will develop processes and then support ongoing alarm system training and awareness raising activities. This will include the development, production, design and delivery of new alarm system training courses and materials.
- They will also provide support to trainee safety and engineering specialist(s).
- The post will also develop alarm policy, procedure and guidance that will be taken forwards by the business.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience/skills in the implementation and operation of alarm systems such as: Trend, Vista, Schneider Systems (EcoStruxure) and Sauter Systems.
- Previous experience working on alarm systems in a large organisation.
- Experience working with onsite engineering teams to discuss protocols etc.
- Electrical engineering experience

Due to an increase in orders and business growth, we are looking to recruit a Systems Integration Technician for a leading global manufacturing client based North of York.
This is a rare opportunity to join the business on a permanent basis in such a varied role.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out all aspect of system integration of subsea components prior to and during Factory Acceptance Testing. You will then be required to travel offshore/ overseas to install / commission equipment in situ and also act as field support on and offshore.
Successful candidates will ideally be electrically trained and be 18th edition (17th considered) qualified.
Offshore experience would be extremely advantageous but not essential to be considered.
Typical working hours - Mon - Thurs 0830AM - 4.30PM / Fri 0830AM - 4PM
All OT is paid at premium rates + offshore rates apply when over seas.
Once trained, realistic earning potential in excess of £50k
Role Description

• Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing (FATs).
• Serve as a field support technician on and offshore.
• Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the integration test areas and equipment used.
• Interface with the engineering department on test specifications and procedures noting any deviations or discrepancies.
• Assist product support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in house testing or fault finding required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, talented, and experienced Systems Engineer to join GE Vernova Power Conversion's Lead Engineering team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Systems Integration Engineer to spearhead the integration of rotating electrical machines and their control systems within a major UK Naval project, while leading a dedicated integration team.
This role requires a strong leadership capability, technical expertise in an engineering discipline, and the ability to derive top-level requirements down to sub-system components, ensuring seamless interface management and system integration.
The Lead Systems Integration Engineer will report directly to the Systems Lead Engineering Manager.
**Team Leadership and Management:**
+ Lead and manage a team of system engineers focused on the integration of a rotating electrical machine solution and its associated control systems.
+ Foster a collaborative environment, promoting skill development and effective teamwork.
**Integration of a Rotating Electrical Machine Solution:**
+ Oversee the integration of rotating electrical machinery with its ancillary equipment and associated control systems within a Naval platform.
