Youu2019ll meet with customers and peers across product, engineering, UX, tax and legal to understand their needs and identify feature needs for our document printing product. Youu2019ll develop functional product and user experience requirements for new features and processes to help meet our customer needs. You will be expected to own the end-to-end roadmap for discrete product features from requirements gathering through to implementation, working across teams to break down silos and drive feature delivery on the product. You will partner closely with the Tax Services engineering team to drive technology design outcomes that are scalable to support all of Amazonu2019s business and compliance needs. The work you deliver has a direct impact on the future portfolio of product for the Tax Services organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services

- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborating with project owners and key stakeholders to define and refine project objectives and deliverables.
- Obtaining and driving to clarity workstream requirements coming from one or more impacted functions and demonstrating a solid working knowledge of requirements to project stakeholders and sponsors.
- Building workstream project plans and identifying workstream dependencies during the planning process; supporting the resource planning process.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project SharePoint landing page used by cross functional core team.
- Liaising with cross-functional workstream participants consisting of Amazon Businesses, Tax, Accounting, Treasury, HR, Legal, Finance Operations, and technical teams to provide a comprehensive status update to the program lead related to the assigned workstream.
- Identifying areas of risk to the project scope or timeline, and escalating to program leadership in a timely manner.
- Diving deep where needed to resolve blocking issues during project execution, testing, launch and cutover.
- Executing project closeout process and practices, ensuring all project artifacts are finalized and archived as appropriate.
- Leading cross functional teams through workstream retrospective to help drive improvements into the process; owning and driving process improvements.
- Supporting the development and delivery of tooling, templates, process improvements and trainings, to varied audiences within and external to the PM team
Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
