Salary: £20,906.25 per annum ( not pro rata )
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils we care for, helping to ensure they get the very best from their education. Each individual has varied and complex needs and so much potential – they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys, tailored specifically to them.
You will help prepare learning materials, run classroom activities, and provide hands-on support. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage with the world. Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, along with guidance and advice to help you grow in your career.
Additional Opportunities
As part of your role, there are exciting opportunities for additional paid responsibilities across a variety of areas, including Outdoor Education, Farm, Horticulture, and Forest School. Who We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom and outdoor settings, according to individual pupil needs. You will take a responsive and caring approach, running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences, or supervising pupils on trips and excursions. Our schools are built on great teamwork, collaboration, and mutual support.
Qualifications Required

About Us
Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of three sites: Wessex Lodge Primary School located in Kilmington, Wessex Lodge Secondary School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. All sites allow students the opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
