Two Exciting Roles Available in School

EYFS - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Provide 1:1 support to a child in Reception with Down's Syndrome and ASD. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and ensure progress.

Reception/Nursery - Blended Support Role
Split between Nursery and Reception, this position involves general classroom support in Nursery and targeted assistance for two Reception pupils with EHCPs (Down's Syndrome and ASD, non-verbal). You'll promote engagement and social interaction through structured play and communication-focused activities.



We're Looking for Candidates Who:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEN , particularly ASD , Down's Syndrome , or communication needs

  • Feel confident working within EYFS or KS1 , using play-based learning approaches

  • Can adapt strategies to meet individual EHCP targets

  • Are patient, nurturing, and consistent in their support

  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Hold a relevant qualification (CACHE Level 2/3, TA Certificate, or Early Years/Psychology degree) - although strong experience is equally valued
