We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for our New Options School - Riseley Green School in Riseley, Berkshire. The school has capacity for 60 pupils ages 4-16 years old and opened in May 2025.
Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs.
- Title: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Riseley Green School, Riseley, Reading, Berkshire RG7 1QF
- Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata )
- Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
- Start Date: December 2025

- Promoting wellbeing, helping pupils develop confidence and independence.
- Assisting with outdoor learning experiences and off-site activities.
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
You’ll be working closely with pupils who require additional care and attention, and your ability to build trust and provide stability will be key to their success.

Main duties and responsibilities
• Provide the support, care and teaching identified in learners’ individual learning plans and curriculum
• Plan, prepare and deliver sessions and activities to learners supporting the development of knowledge and skills as outlined in their individualised curriculum
