A lovely primary school in Waltham Forest are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support a child with Autism in year 2.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant your role will be to provide 1 to 1 support throughout the school day. The pupil you will be supporting is based in year 2 and has Autism and is currently non-verbal. Although he can engage in some learning and activities within the classroom, he also displays challenging behaviour and will need support outside the classroom at times. The school are looking for a confident and experienced SEN Teaching assistant to work with him on a full-time basis.
