We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded post-16 college in Greenwich for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to start from the end of August.
This is a rewarding role supporting students aged 16+ with a range of special educational needs , including physical needs. You’ll be working both in the classroom and on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping students access learning and reach their potential.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting learners with a variety of SEN needs, including physical and complex needs
- Working 1:1 , in small groups, and within classroom settings
- Assisting with personal care and physical support where required
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working with young people with SEN (ideally in a school or college )
- A calm, patient and flexible approach
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday , 8:30am–4:30pm
