OVERVIEW
As a Facilitator, you will work with a team of technologists and expert facilitators whose passion and skills for teaching, as well as their technical expertise, set Decoded apart from its competitors. You will be part of the delivery of our Mindset curriculum across topics within data science and analytics, digital transformation and new technology, cyber- and data security, and ways of working.
You are passionate about leadership education and the impact of learning for individuals and organisations. You understand how to communicate that if the learner succeeds, the organisation succeeds. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional educational experience to Decoded learners - contributing to a highly motivated team that puts the learner experience at the heart of our mission and culture.
As an individual, you can work across multiple digital and technical domains and work alongside experts to create a culture of learner-centred education. You can communicate technical topics to leaders within the business without technical jargon. You are not expected to be an expert in all areas, but you will be willing and able to learn about a range of Digital and Data technologies as required.
To this end, you will also contribute to the development of our learning products, using your first-hand experience of delivery to inform the creation and maintenance of our content, helping it to stay up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
As a Facilitator at Decoded, you are accountable for:
Facilitating our learning content to groups of adult learners via virtual workshops
Assisting with the design and development of learning products as required for Decoded's customers
Honing your skills as an educator and building your knowledge of andragogy and teaching theory
SPECIFIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching
You will facilitate Mindset workshops and immersions regularly against the scheduled calendar across all Mindset content
You will facilitate sessions for new and existing clients, senior leaders, and large audiences both virtually and in person
You will adequately prepare for scheduled workshops to ensure consistent excellence, reviewing exercises and learning materials before each session, and learning about your learners and their businesses.
You will occasionally pilot newly developed content to launch with high quality, to model facilitation, and to feedback on product development
Team Culture
You will occasionally observe facilitators to monitor quality of delivery and content in relation to the best practices
You will sometimes deliver training to other facilitators in the network to champion best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

A passionate technologist with over 2 years of experience in a professional technical training setting facilitating workshops, or relevant industry experience
An excellent and adaptable communicator, verbally and in writing

This role will report into the Head of Product Development (Mindset). The holder of this position will be part of the Mindset Product Team.
DAY-TO-DAY
We are a global workforce currently working a blend of remote and office working. Remote and flexible working has always been part of our culture and will continue to be encouraged. Our working hours are typically from 9 am-5 pm Monday - Friday in the time zone you reside in; however, you will be in control and responsible for your time. You will plan your working day around the best outcomes for success, identifying and prioritising projects against business needs. For this position to be successful, weekly working hours must overlap with both GMT, EST time zones, and occasionally HKT time zones, to collaborate effectively with the global team.
Salary band
£55,000 - £60,000
Apart from the above, working at Decoded means you’ll get:

Role
