We’ve already built a strong reputation for high-quality UX Research and Analysis to uncover the biggest opportunities for our clients' businesses, with a strong UX team of consultants delivering this work. The team also works collaboratively to solve the problems they uncover through evidence-led UX Design and Experimentation.
However, Andy, our current Lead, who heads up the team, who has done an exceptional job these past 5 years, is emigrating to the other side of the world!
So, we’re looking for a replacement Lead UX Consultant to lead the UX team, with 8+ years of practical experience in fast-paced digital environments, preferably with consultancy/agency experience.
It’s important that this person is highly skilled in all UX Research methodologies, plus a strong knowledge of Quant research too, and ideally with leadership and management experience. It will also be useful if they have a good grounding in UX Design.
They’ll work very closely with our Strategy, Development, QA teams and also our management and leadership teams.
This is a hybrid role based in our Central London office with flexibility to work from home for 3-4 days per week.
We need you to
- Lead and line-manage the UX Team
- Ensure that we deliver the highest quality work for our clients using our existing methodologies, frameworks and processes, with the objective of driving maximum impact for our clients’ businesses and their customers.
- Over time, bring your experience, expertise and ideas to enhance our ways of working, so we can continually improve everything we do.
- Work closely with the Strategy and Development Leads on internal projects and initiatives such as new systems, insights libraries, tooling etc.
- Continue to improve how UX empowers experimentation.
- Lead on key projects for our clients, as this is also a hands-on UX role.
- Work with the sales team on proposals and pitches to prospects.
- Run workshops for our clients and internally.
- Provide training and consultancy to our clients to help them improve their own internal capabilities, their set-up and operating model.
- Continue to explore and progress how we integrate AI/LLM’s and Agents into our workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of our work.

Role Overview
The Lead Driver will act as the day-to-day on-site coordinator for Deliver Associates (DAs), serving as the primary point of contact for both DAs and clients. This role involves ensuring smooth daily operations, providing operational guidance, conducting vehicle checks, managing communications, and addressing issues as they arise. The Lead Driver also assists with training and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.
Supervision of Drivers
- Oversee the daily activities of DAs, ensuring they follow assigned routes and complete deliveries on time.
- Conduct daily check-ins with the team and manage daily dispatch for the site.
- Record and raise absence logs.
- Ensure DAs meet safety score targets.
- Assign two week rolling rota.
- Check PROD entries and ensure end-of-day forms are completed.
- Monitor driver performance and provide regular operational feedback.
- Work to agreed targets for route completion and delivery performance.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as the main on-site contact between DAs and management.
- Maintain open communication with DAs, resolving operational issues or delivery concerns.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with Recruitment and Senior Management to highlight any DAs concerns or replacement needs.
- Manage the internal communication groups: adding and removing DAs as they join or leave.
Training & Development
- Provide hands-on familiarisation for new DAs, including delivery expectations, driving assessments, and customer service standards.
- Support ongoing skills development for DAs to improve efficiency and adherence to operational guidelines.
Vehicle and Equipment Management
- Ensure weekly vehicle checks are up to date, including safety inspections and roadworthiness confirmation.
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Complete accident reporting within agreed SLA timeframes.
Issue Resolution
- Handle urgent issues such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route changes.
- Escalate significant operational challenges or client concerns to senior management.
Client Interaction
- Address client queries or concerns about deliveries.
- Ensure client-specific requests are understood and met.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure DAs follow safety and operational requirements at all times.
- Enforce PPE use and wearing of lanyards on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in last-mile delivery driving.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple drivers and schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and common operational issues.
