About the role

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at our Syon Grange and Colne Grange early years specialist education sites, based in Isleworth, London. The postholder will work collaboratively with the site’s Senior Leadership team and the Locality Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team. Working collaboratively with the site, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. 

You will be responsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full support of our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growing Clinical Team, also contributing to staff training and consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload and supervise others. • BSc or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy
• Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body HCPC and RCSLT

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or Doctorate in Psychology
• Registered with the HCPC and own professional body.
• Experience of working with people who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern).
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners.
• Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
