Mode Search is supporting a leading fashion supplier with the appointment of a Junior Merchandiser. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic merchandising team. The position is based in London, working full-time from the office. The Junior Merchandiser will sit within the Sales/Merchandising function and report directly to the Merchandising Manager. The Role Manage the customer critical path to ensure smooth progression of orders from placement through to on-time delivery. Liaise closely with the Sales team to support business goals and meet deadlines. Assist the Merchandiser and Account Manager with daily departmental tasks and planning. Coordinate bulk fabric and garment submissions, following up on approvals. Oversee colour approvals, strike-offs, and lab dip statuses, liaising with mills as required. Check and manage customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication. Update the critical path with technical updates, testing status, and new order information. Maintain visual boards and updates aligned with the critical path, communicating changes where necessary. Support continuous process improvements within the merchandising function. Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar merchandising role with strong experience in managing critical paths. Previous experience working with a fast-fashion supplier is highly desirable. Strong commercial awareness, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong organisational and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of merchandising systems is an advantage. Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in using initiative. Interested?
