Full time Remote position
Our client who is part of a global manufacturing company based in the Colchester area are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer. Working remotely and travelling UK wide to visit customers with trips to the office in the Colchester area twice per month. The ideal candidate will have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or above and sales experience.
The role:
- Visiting current and prospective customers, covering the whole country.
- Work closely with internal departments.
- Market and product analysis.
- Maintaining and growing existing customers and identifying new targets wherever possible.
- Gain a technical understanding of complete company product range along with current and potential new applications.
- Required travel to the Essex office twice per month
- Visits to the office based in Germany required (roughly twice a year)
What's required:
- Must have engineering qualifications - HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Technical knowledge/experience required
- 3+ years sales experience essential
- Manufacturing experience/knowledge an advantage
- Must be open minded, well organised, motivated, disciplined and able to work in a team environment
- Flexible work environment - customer facing, home office, head office etc.
