- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, essential for managing multiple apprentices and employers remotely.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with apprentices, employers, and training providers.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and virtual meeting platforms.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote, home-based environment.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Training Manager to lead and shape our Water Training division. This pivotal role sets the strategy for our training team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant apprenticeship and technical training programmes.
You’ll manage and inspire a team of trainers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure programmes meet industry, regulatory and customer needs. As the lead IQA, you’ll maintain excellence in apprenticeship compliance and curriculum quality.
What You’ll Do
- Set and deliver the training strategy in line with departmental goals
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of technical trainers
- Oversee apprenticeship delivery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, awarding bodies, and funding requirements
- Drive quality assurance across training materials, programmes, and learner outcomes
- Build strong client relationships, support new business, and attend progress reviews
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, budgets, and reporting for the training division
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in a senior training management role
- Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship delivery, training compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Confident IT user (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
