The Field Service Engineer provides engineering, technical service, field inspections and customer support for the sale of Industrial Filtration products. This position will travel to end users and provide full inspections and provide solutions to customers. The Role

Reporting to the Power Technique Service Operations Manager and responsible for providing service & maintenance on customers' machines. Your responsibilities will include:
Main Responsibilities
- To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on Portable air compressors, Energy storage systems, Generators, pumps and handheld equipment
- To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment at different locations mainly in the northern part of England and Scotland.
- To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
- To identify required parts to effect repairs.
- To complete job reports correctly and return them in a timely manner.
- To coordinate with the Service planner to plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules.
- To be aware of, and strictly apply, Health and Safety regulations on customer sites/workshops.
- To always apply good standards of engineering practice.
- To maintain test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition.
- To effectively promote the Atlas Copco Power Technique company image.
- To perform related duties as required.
