An exciting opportunity for a Wireless Applications Engineer has arisen with a global leader in wireless technology, based in Hampshire.
As a Wireless Applications Engineer, you will drive innovation by showcasing the modem roadmap and AI-enabled technologies to carrier partners. This includes leading proof-of-concept activities, supporting high-profile demo events, and engaging with carriers across Europe and MEA. You will play a key role in trials, launch events, and post-launch support to ensure the successful adoption of advanced 4G/5G features and AI-driven use cases.
This is an onsite role, requiring you onsite 5 days a week. There will also be frequent travel across Europe.
Experience of the Wireless Applications Engineer will include:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant field
- Strong understanding of wireless technologies, including LTE, 5G NR and 3GPP
- Experience with C++ and Python
- Excellent communication skills, having the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: experience with AI modem features
