- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and problems in a timely manner.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade network hardware and software components.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Plan and execute network testing and validation procedures.
- Ensure network security measures are implemented and maintained effectively.
- Stay current with emerging telecommunications technologies and industry best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation for network support as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Experience with optical networking technologies (DWDM, GPON) and mobile network technologies (4G/5G core, RAN).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or Ericsson.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
