Overview
A well-established regional law firm is seeking a confident and proactive Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its Employment Team. This is a flexible role with the opportunity to build a thriving caseload and take ownership of business development in your local area.

The Role
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of employment law and experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will handle a broad range of work, including:

  • Advising employers and employees on unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, TUPE transfers, business restructuring/redundancies, settlement agreements, company policies, dismissal, and contractual issues

  • Full preparation for Employment Tribunal cases, including own advocacy where required

  • Delivering seminars and contributing to marketing initiatives

  • Regular attendance at networking and business development events to grow a client base

  • Drafting articles and contributing to the firms social media to raise the profile of the Employment Team

You will also work with the firms marketing initiatives to enhance its reputation and attract new business.
