Remote Role

A highly regarded law firm is seeking to recruit an experienced employment lawyer to handle a claimant and contentious caseload.

The firm act for professional organisations, trade unions and private individuals and pride themselves on outstanding client care.

Ideally you should have 4 - 5 years experience and be able to work with minimum supervison. The firm have an enviable client base and this is a great opportunity to work across a number of sectors providing great client care, advice and through to litigation.

While support and training is available, the successful candidate should have a good grounding in contentious employment matters.

This is a remote role with attendance required a couple of times a month.

The Role:

In this role you will manage your own caseload, building strong relationships with customers to understand their individual challenges, strengths and goals. You’ll provide tailored advice, guidance and practical support to help them prepare for, find and sustain employment. This will include identifying skills gaps, sourcing training or work placements, and linking customers with local services or employers. Duties:

• Manage all contact with your caseload, meeting customers face-to-face in the centre.
• Carry out detailed assessments at the first meeting to understand barriers, experience, skills and learning needs.
• Refer customers to training, workshops, or mentoring to help overcome challenges and develop employability.
• Provide regular coaching, advice and encouragement to maintain motivation and engagement.
