Building Surveyor - Hugely Varied Work - Manchester

Job Description
Are you stuck in one sector at your building consultancy? Maybe a bit bored and looking for some variety of projects, surveys, and to be given autonomy all at the same time?
Yes, this is a leading question…
… Because as well as starting a sentence with a conjunction (which my English teacher would kill me for) I’m also recruiting for a building consultancy in Manchester with a massive amount of work, which is all hugely varied. We are talking projects up to £20m across several sectors like retail parks, offices, industrial units, residential new builds and refurbs – basically anything you can think of. Not only projects, but also dilapidations, technical due diligence, and other surveying duties too.
In fact they have so much on they need someone else on board to help out. Like you!
They’re looking for someone who has a good few years of experience, who can be handed a project or client or survey and be able to do it with little handholding. You don’t need to be chartered, but if you’re going for your APC then you should ideally be looking to charter next year. Or if the whole MRICS part sort of skipped you by, that’s ok too. As long as you have the experience needed they can make it work.
In return you’d get great exposure to all sorts of work and clients, lots of autonomy and the chance to help continue to grow things in the office.
