The Role of the Territory Manager
- li>
You will become an expert in all therapy areas with key focus on infusion pumps, vascular access, safety software & pain management portfolio (Bag to vein and everything in-between).

Educating customers around the different uses of their medical device and associated consumables

Selling to NHS, Procurement, Infection Control, EBME Departments, Head of Departments & Clinical Leads
-
Account management approach to evaluate where the business can be grown within existing accounts.

Educate customers around the product portfolio to upsell, and cross-sell to drive revenue growth
-
Collaborate with the Internal Clinical nursing team & technical Integration team to identify training needs to maximize customer experience and develop relationships in established accounts.

You will work with newly acquired and existing NHS Acute, Private and Alternate site accounts to maximise the revenue and profit across the infusion portfolio & vascular access

There is also a team of 8 x Clinical Nurse Trainers + 2 x Field Service Engineers that will support you

Covering the East Midlands and East Anglia region.
The Ideal Person for the Territory Manager

Ideally infusion pumps sales (Infusion Therapy, IV Systems, IV Consumables & IV Solutions).

A high level of knowledge in all infusion therapy areas is required to be able to educate their customers on the different uses of the devices and consumable portfolio.

Knowledge of health issues related to Infusion portfolio need and use.

Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology; with some knowledge of clinical disease states.

Sales experience in delivering a systems solution incorporating hardware, dedicated, non-dedicated consumables.

Will also consider other medical capital equipment/solution led sales background but must have the understanding of the sales process of a capital product that is very much procurement led

Consistent expert knowledge of health issues related to surgery and anaesthesia.

Ability to analyse and interpret commercial data.

The job is an out and out Territory Manager role and is a new business role. Will be selling their whole portfolio of medical devices and consumable products including, suction liners, catheters, cardiology consumables, stents, wound drainage vacuums, ENT suction products etc.

You will be liaising with and selling to a wide range of hospital departments including theatre managers, sisters, nurses, procurement, neonatal departments, ITU/CCU/ICU, material management departments, EBME.

You will be tasked to visit around 2 hospitals a day but will have multiple access to multiple departments within the hospitals.

You will become an expert in all therapy areas with key focus on infusion pumps, vascular access, safety software & pain management portfolio (Bag to vein and everything in-between).

Educating customers around the different uses of their medical device and associated consumables

Selling to NHS, Procurement, Infection Control, EBME Departments, Head of Departments & Clinical Leads

Account management approach to evaluate where the business can be grown within existing accounts.

Educate customers around the product portfolio to upsell, and cross-sell to drive revenue growth

Collaborate with the Internal Clinical nursing team & technical Integration team to identify training needs to maximize customer experience and develop relationships in established accounts.

Ideally infusion pumps sales (Infusion Therapy, IV Systems, IV Consumables & IV Solutions).

A high level of knowledge in all infusion therapy areas is required to be able to educate their customers on the different uses of the devices and consumable portfolio.

Knowledge of health issues related to Infusion portfolio need and use.

Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology; with some knowledge of clinical disease states.

Sales experience in delivering a systems solution incorporating hardware, dedicated, non-dedicated consumables.

The Territory Manager within the Solta Medical business unit is responsible for driving capital and consumable sales within an assigned territory in **the Midlands, UK** . Preferred locations include **Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool** . (The business reserves the right to adjust territories as required, with prior notice provided.)
**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
Performing effective territory penetration to drive sales and revenue growth among the existing and newly installed customer base for the Solta family of products.
Revenue responsibility for the appropriate territory.
Organizing and conducting sales meetings and regular customer visits.
Advise customers on the application capabilities of Solta products.
Supporting and helping to facilitate the execution of regional training workshops and tradeshows within the territory and area.
Coordinate high attendance user meetings and intro workshops.
Executing launch installation action plans for existing accounts.
Pre-planning sales calls and maintaining efficient time management skills to ensure maximum customer contact and highest level of customer service.
Completing administrative responsibilities including quarterly business plans, up-to-date account profiles, monthly expense reports and updating Solta customer database.
Maintaining compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines as an integral part of business operations.
Maintain consistent communication regarding the territory with all team members including customers, marketing, and clinical co-workers.

**The minimum requirements:**

Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians management and/or large groups.
Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of Solta products using professional selling and closing skills.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
Ability to travel adequately to cover territory including overnight stays attend tradeshows and corporate and training meetings. Must be willing to travel up to 75%.

The Territory Sales Manager (TM) will hold the overall responsibility for the selling of the diabetes portfolio and achieving sales targets in line with the UK Sales and Marketing strategy. The TM will be required to work closely with the Technical Consultant and District Sales Manager to ensure successful business growth in the defined territory and Scotland as a whole.
