Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain elements of the quality system to meet the requirements of company practices, codes of practice, and customer protocols.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all component specifications, product specifications, and the QA and HACCP Manual.
- Conduct checks of products as outlined in the QA manual.
- Review, check, and sign off records.
- Assist with investigating complaints and quality failures, recommending corrective actions and preventative measures.
- Perform in-depth checks of packing materials and finished products when requested by the QA team and produce detailed reports.
- Audit sections of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance, reporting any non-conformances.

Qualifications / Experience:
- Previous experience working within Quality Assurance, ideally in food manufacturing.

- Food Safety Level 2 qualification (desirable).
Pay rate / Hours
- Salary: 29,542
- Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm

We're looking for a Food Microbiologist with hands-on experience in food manufacturing, ideally within a Quality Assurance or Hygiene function. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone passionate about food safety and eager to expand their expertise across multiple disciplines.
In this role, you'll embark on a structured learning and development pathway designed to evolve your capabilities into a Safety, Quality, and Hygiene Specialist. You'll play a vital role in supporting our team to deliver and enhance factory hygiene services through both consultancy, technical support and the delivery of training and workshops.
Position
- Conducting assessments and providing guidance on Cleaning Systems
- Evaluating and improving personnel hygiene practices
- Advising on hygienic design of equipment and facilities
- Reviewing and optimizing building and air handling systems for contamination control
- Designing environmental sampling programs
