3. Make sure User Stories have well-documented User Acceptance Criteria by working alongside product owner/designers whenever required.
4. Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests, business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy where possible.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Good knowledge of the test process (Analysing the requirements, writing the UACs, test cases, get test cases reviewed by Dev lead).
7. Experience in logging test cases/defects into Jira using Zephyr.
8. Ready to take up new challenges that may arise.
9. Good Analytical skills.
10. Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint).
11. Execute all levels of testing (Sanity/Regression/Functional/Exploratory Testing).

About YouThe successful candidate will be extremely creative, we will look to you to write tests and guidelines for products in our portfolio, as well as giving feedback on potential UX and usability improvements or considerations. What you'll be doing…
As a QA Automation Engineer you’ll work closely with the QA Lead, Senior QA Automation Engineers and within your Squad to drive our efforts to build up a robust automation test framework to support our replatform of our service.
You will help to guide on best practice and approach, identify defects and work alongside the Software Engineers whilst they are writing solutions, to ensure that our automated testing solution is kept up to date, in real time with the coding efforts of the Engineering team, as well as to help identify and deliver the required test coverage across the platform.
The responsibility of Quality will be owned by the whole Squad but you will help to implement Quality Gates and ensure Software Engineers are building in quality at the earliest possible stage (shift left). You will support Senior QA Automation Engineers in their role as gate-keepers for Quality Assurance throughout the environmental promotion of releases.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
- You have proven experience using one or more of Playwright, Protractor, Cypress, WebDriver.io and/or JavaScript/TypeScript testing frameworks.
- You understand and identify Acceptance Criteria with Product Owners and teams and must be able to elicit test conditions, scenarios and supporting test data from these ACs.
- You should hold ISTQB Software Testing Foundation or equivalent certification
- You have a good understanding of functional and non-functional testing approaches, and have good experience of implementing test suites to support integration, end to end and cross browser/device testing needs.
- You are confident in testing APIs, have experience of Postman or an equivalent toolset.
- You are able to collaborate with Team Leads, QA Lead and Senior QA Automation Engineers to align best practices & QA automation practices.
- You have experience with basic development tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
- You have experience writing basic SQL queries.
- You are able to communicate technical information to non-technical people as needed.
- You have a drive to continuously improve quality.
