You will be the central point of contact, ensuring that vehicle content is accurately monitored, requirements are managed, and testing is completed on schedule, providing clear visibility of status and priorities to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate new vehicle content and engineering changes to assess their impact on Ergonomics, communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders to coordinate a response.
• Monitor vehicle content to ensure all necessary Ergonomics requirements are active and managed within the central engineering test management system throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary lead for Design Verification (DV) testing for the Ergonomics team.
• Organise and coordinate the availability of both physical and virtual vehicle test properties.
• Maintain the team's DV testing calendar and ensure the central engineering test management system is up-to-date.
• Proactively ensure the team is aware of and prepared for all upcoming testing deadlines.
• Guarantee the completion of the Ergonomics team's DV testing, including the timely submission of all test reports.
• Maintain a clear, concise, and up-to-date summary of the Ergonomics status and priorities across all vehicle programmes, sharing regular updates with integration teams and senior stakeholders.

The Role
QA Technicians are the key ingredient to our recipe for success at Geary’s. You’re responsible for monitoring our processes against site procedures through regular auditing and supporting interdepartmental teams, providing clear and accurate advice. In maintaining our due diligence, you ensure our bread is not only delicious but also meets food safety, product integrity and quality requirements. Your main responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining accurate, audit-ready, site and product specific documentation to guide our teams in meeting required standards li>Reviewing all production paperwork, confirming information in real time, that it is completed accurately and in full
- Identifying any areas of improvement or additional training needs related to paperwork completion li>Conducting legal compliance verification checks on site wide equipment (such as temperature probes, scales and fridges) against a defined schedule, escalating any out of spec results and assisting in investigation and corrective action implementation
- Conducting GMP/Glass and Hard Plastic and Fabrication audits to ensure hygiene levels are maintained, working with department leads to assess compliance and improve standards where necessary
- Reporting audit findings within the Internal Audit Procedure
- Completing PQE sessions to confirm product conforms to food safety, quality and customer requirements
- Conducting sampling and swabbing against site risk assessed schedules; leading investigations when out of spec result is received to confirm cause and corrective and preventative measures as outlined in non-conformance procedure
- Acting as subject matter expert for CCP controls, weight controls (in line with Weights and Measures Act 1985) and food safety and quality standards, delivering training and support to colleagues on all areas where necessary

Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Quality Assurance Manager will play a key role in supporting our Home Managers to uphold statutory and regulatory standards, while providing oversight and guidance on clinical care and governance. Working across allocated homes, the role will focus on monitoring quality, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting best practice to help achieve the highest standards in care and service delivery.
This role will require the successful applicant to possess a full driving license and must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.

- Apply your knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act, associated regulations, and the CQC Single Assessment Framework to support safe, high-quality care for older people, whilst drawing on your experience in adult social care/care home environments to work flexibly and responsively, adapting to organisational priorities and service needs.
- Monitor risks, incidents, and safeguarding concerns, ensuring learning is captured and acted upon to improve resident safety, while embedding a culture of continuous learning by sharing best practices, benchmarking against sector standards, and maintaining services in an inspection-ready state at all times.
- Oversee the completion, presentation, and review of quality compliance audits in line with the CQC regulatory framework, producing clear reports and presenting findings to the Board, regulators, and stakeholders to provide assurance, transparency, and evidence of consistently high care standards across all allocated services.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, report on performance, and recommend actions that enhance service delivery.
- Support Home Managers by working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders, building positive relationships and leaving a confident impression on residents, families, and partners to promote the quality of our care and services.
- Lead and support projects, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, while playing an active role in initiatives that strengthen care quality, efficiency, and outcomes across the service.
- Gather feedback from residents, families, staff, and other professionals to inform quality improvements and support the delivery of person-centred, responsive care.
We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be/have:
- In-depth knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act, associated regulations, and older people's policies, with applied understanding of the CQC Single Assessment Framework (essential)
- Proven track record in a quality, compliance, or management role within adult social care or care home settings, with the ability to adapt to organisational priorities (essential)
- Holding or working towards a relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or a recognised Management qualification (essential)
- Skilled in gathering, interpreting, and reporting data to evidence compliance, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement (essential)
- Experienced in training, coaching, and mentoring, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, professional relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external partners (essential)
- Positive, well-organised, and outcome-focused, able to work under pressure and flexibly, including evenings and occasional weekends (essential)
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and relevant post-registration experience (desirable)
- Practical experience in leading and supporting projects, ideally within a social care setting (desirable)
- Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and care-related initiatives that drive continuous improvement (desirable)

Role summary
The person will support the team responsible for quality and regulatory compliance of the portfolio of products and all new product launches. This role will be office based.
We are open to candiates whos come from the FMCG , Personal care, Food, Pharma or Medical Device sectors.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review and approval of new product samples and artwork at all stages of the approval process including up to Gold Seal samples.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as NPD, Supply Chain and Technical for NPD launches and the management of our existing portfolio of products.
- Logging and sending of samples to external laboratories for stability testing, production of a CPSR and any other testing requirements in a timely manner.
- Updating internal and external electronic product information management systems such as the UK CPNP, and Product/Quality related databases.
- Engaging with suppliers to support internal stakeholder projects.
- Monitor supplier accreditation and audit requirements, ensuring information is correct, current, and compliant.
- Stay up to date with UK and EU industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging quality standards.
- Logging and assisting with investigation of quality / product complaints, including liaising directly with the manufacturer and customer.
- Logging and investigation of Non conformances, Deviations and CAPA’s and compliance with internal QMS procedures. < i>Creation of monthly Quality KPI’s for management meetings.

- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise their own work to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Excellent written & verbal communicator.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft office, Cloud/Web based applications and annotating PDF files is essential.
