The Testing Coordinator will serve as a pivotal link within the technical team, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and execution of laboratory testing activities to meet project and customer requirements efficiently. The role facilitates planning, organisation, and management of testing projects from initiation to completion, acting as a central point of contact between Coating Engineers, Technical Manager, supply chain, test facilities, and relevant stakeholders.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Experience Required:
- Experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Planning role.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience within a technical or laboratory testing environment is preferable but not essential.
Remit & Responsibilities :
- Take ownership of all laboratory testing coordination activities to ensure products and services meet business and customer requirements.
- Receive testing requirements from Coating Engineers and issue to test facilities for pricing and quotations.
- Interface with test facilities and CRC Evans Supply Chain to ensure timely and correct issuance of purchase orders.
- Monitor testing progress, ensuring Coating Engineers receive timely test results and escalate time constraints or test failures when necessary.
- Assist with the logistics of test pipes and samples, coordinating with test facilities and CRC Evans logistics to schedule deliveries.
- Assist Coating Engineers with documentation and control of testing records.
- Provide reports to clients and the Project Delivery Manager as required.
- Coordinate project testing tasks, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables, including creating plans, timelines while monitoring progress against deadlines.
- Be familiar with and adhere to all PT/Site QHSE project-related procedures.
- Carry out duties safely and efficiently in line with Company QHSE policies, reporting any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or incidents in the workplace.
- Perform all duties in line with the Schedule of Management Authorities.
- Undertake other tasks as required to support evolving business needs.
