Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will include:
- Manage overall quality resources including a team of around 30 engineers to prioritise workloads across multiple projects and processes
- Lead and govern the ISO 9001:2015 management system, customer, legislative and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and develop quality SOP’s and documentation
- Promote quality best practice throughout the organisation
- Deploy APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Quality assurance across multiple projects and programmes
- Lead 8D, A3 and DMAIC investigations into product defects and near misses to identify corrective and preventative actions
- Monitor and develop programme related KPI’s
- Coach and develop a high-performing Quality Operations team
For the Quality Manager role, we are keen to receive CV’s from candidates who possess:
- Experience as a Quality Manager within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment

- Deep understanding of investigative techniques (8D, A3 and DMAIC) and the ability to monitor performance indicators

Overall purpose
To provide a high standard of training in various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) disciplines in which the post holder is certified.
Key performance areas
- Deliver training at a high standard to students in NDT as required.
- Develop programmes of learning activities including planning, preparing, delivering and researching training sessions.
- Prepare and maintain learning materials.
- Check and assess students' work and give constructive feedback on their performance. Invigilate examinations and ensure awarding body (i.e. BINDT) standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of training for all students as required. Provide feedback on all training activities.
- Liaise with other specialists and NDT professionals both internally and externally in order to ensure contemporary thinking and practice is brought into training in the methods and sectors taught.
- “Master” examination specimens as required.
- Attend relevant training courses as required to enhance qualifications and continuously improve training abilities.
- Ensure adequate self-development and training/cross training is undertaken to fulfil the role and responsibilities, share knowledge with team members and contribute to team development.
- Ensure that all personal certifications are kept up to date. If certified at Level 3, to mark examinations as required.
Key attributes / Person specification
Essential:
- Certified in the methods in which they are required to teach and at least 5 years’ industrial experience as an NDT technician.
- The candidate will hold, as a minimum, PCN Level 2 certifications in a minimum of 2 methods.
- Level 2 certification in a volumetric method would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a training environment is desirable, but not essential, as training will be given.
Additional:
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to teach from the front of a classroom.
- The aptitude to gain a deep theoretical understanding of NDT methods and the confidence to be able to respond to challenging student questions.
- Good written skills and the desire to continually improve course notes and materials. Willing to train and upgrade certification to PCN Level 3.
- Willing to train and learn new methods in NDT, as required.
- Willing to train and become certified in other certification schemes, as required by the company (i.e. ASNT).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work well and communicate with a wide variety of people at all levels. Ability to work in a team in a collegiate way.

The Vice President will lead and perform testing reviews related to BNYs businesses and operational processes. This role ensures adherence to applicable laws, rules, regulations, and corporate policies in accordance with the Global Methodology Standard and the Annual Testing Plan for the assigned region or business unit. The incumbent will work with minimal guidance, managing all phases of testing reviews, communicating findings, and facilitating corrective actions to maintain regulatory and corporate compliance.
Variables (Key Responsibilities)
This role is dedicated to the tester specializing in ‘Financial Crime covering Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Anti-Tax Evasion’ who will thoroughly research and interpret relevant laws and regulations, applying a solution-focused approach to the challenges. The tester will promptly escalate significant business risks, internal control issues, or material regulatory breaches to relevant jurisdiction Anti-Money Laundering Officers/Money Laundering Reporting Officers and / or Financial Crime Compliance Officer. They will assist in the development and execution of the testing plan for assigned assessable units or themes. They will ensure timely, high-quality reviews aligned with Global Methodology Standard. This role requires strong collaboration with business units, senior management, and associated stakeholders to support compliance adherence and address findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assist in planning and executing the Annual Testing Program, acting as delegate for the Testing Manager/Team Leader on ad-hoc assignments as needed.
- Lead and conduct reviews efficiently within established timelines, following the Global Methodology Standard and Annual Testing Plan.
- Build and develop expertise in relevant business processes, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to assigned compliance reviews.
- Design and perform tests to assess compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, verifying control processes align with requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in all review phases—planning, fieldwork, walkthroughs, testing—while maintaining clear and thorough documentation.
- Analyze business processes and risks; train and support team members on assigned reviews, methodology, and system use.
- Communicate issues clearly in writing and verbally to stakeholders; facilitate corrective action plans and validate remediation efforts.
- Prepare high-quality reports and presentation materials for management and stakeholders.
- Use MS Office and BNY’s proprietary AI tools for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Recording of all testing activities in Risk and Compliance Testing system.
- Escalate issues promptly and propose remediation solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities, take ownership of tasks, and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Collaborate actively within the team, build strong stakeholder relationships across three lines of defense, and represent testing team in internal and client meetings.
- Participate in team and departmental projects.
- Ensure compliance with all BNY corporate policies and training requirements.
- Champion the use of BNY’s proprietary AI tools to improve testing accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Confidently leverage BNY’s proprietary AI tools to streamline compliance tasks, improve documentation accuracy, accelerate reporting, and control assessments, draft risk narratives, identify control gaps, and streamline stakeholder communications.
- Promote adoption of BNY’s proprietary AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.
Expectations:
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- Education: Preferred secondary/university graduate degree in Business, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CISI, IMC, CFA, IAPP certifications) are advantageous.
- Experience: Financial industry experience, Compliance & Risk experience, compliance testing, control testing, and/or internal audit, ideally gained at a large bank, financial institution, public accounting firm, or regulatory body.
- Building AI solutions and automating control testing preferred.
- Proven track record of managing compliance testing or audit processes independently and under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify, collate, and distill relevant information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex issues succinctly.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and proactively manage challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the Three Lines of Defense.
- Sound risk awareness and ability to apply outcome-focused regulation while understanding commercial pressures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members on compliance testing methodologies and systems.
- Aptitude for problem-solving, critical thinking, and developing practical solutions.
- Subject Matter Expert in Financial Crime regulatory requirements with strong Financial Crime audit or compliance experience. Proven ability to manage and execute risk-based testing programs or Financial Crime audits. Knowledge of global and various jurisdictional Financial Crime regimes is an added advantage.

Purpose
Continually strive for customer excellence and support Camira’s vision by ensuring the customer and Camira are protected from known or repeat issues. Responsible for ensuring product quality standards are consistently maintained, reducing customer concerns and fabric rejects while ensuring a pro-active approach is taken to customer concerns by carrying out timely inspection and testing on non-conforming products.
The day to day
- To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
- Contain and report poor-quality fabric, ensuring issues are managed both physically and in the system to minimise customer impact.
- Support inbound/outbound verification through effective communication with Goods Inwards, Customer Services, ABMs and Supply Chain.
- Handle Quality helpdesk calls, record results, and maintain inspection databases.
- Provide support to Customer Services and Sales teams, including customer visits when required.
- Manage stock movements and accuracy, including faulty stock, returns, and stock checks.
- Assess and monitor raw materials/fabric quality and communicate results to relevant departments.
- Conduct supplier visits to verify product compliance, including tagging procedures.
- Support the CCR process from receipt to close-out.
- Promote customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement with a solution-focused approach.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, ensuring strong housekeeping standards.
- Foster collaboration across teams, avoiding silos and driving effective communication.
- Lead by example, demonstrating Camira’s values and behaviours.
