What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a compassionate team focused on patient wellbeing, supporting recovery through personalised care and therapies. Working with qualified staff, you'll assist with assessments, care plans, and tasks that promote dignity and treatment.
Reporting to the Hospital Director, the Therapy Services Manager is a key member of the Senior Management Team, accountable for inpatient and day care services, ensuring high-quality standards are met and maintained.
What you'll bring
The role is rewarding but challenging, requiring resilience and empathy. We are seeking an experienced mental health professional with a background in supervisory or management roles (ideally Ward Manager or equivalent). You'll have experience managing budgets, leading teams, and implementing quality and innovation within a mental health setting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals via secure video conferencing platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of qualified psychologists and therapists delivering remote care.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for telehealth service delivery.
- Ensure the safe and effective management of complex mental health cases within a remote setting.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of digital therapeutic tools and resources.
- Conduct regular clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for the remote therapy team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical psychology and digital mental health.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and ethical practice.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) or equivalent.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Significant post-qualification experience in a clinical psychology setting, with demonstrable leadership responsibilities.
- Expertise in delivering a range of psychotherapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT).
- Proven experience in telehealth or digital mental health service delivery.
- Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding protocols and risk management in a remote context.
- Exceptional leadership, supervision, and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency in using secure telehealth platforms and electronic record systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for improving access to mental health services through innovative digital solutions.
