Responsibilities
- Issuance and checking of letters of credit and guarantees
- Processing of payments under confirmed, unconfirmed Letters of credit.
- Confidence in relating with other corresponding banks to solve corresponding bank issues
- Confidence in relating with other banks in the establishment of RMA keys
- Knowledge of loan booking and loan administration.
- Processing of clean Reimbursement.
- Processing payment under LC discounting.
- Reconciliation of all LC cash collateral accounts and Suspense accounts
- Processing of Bill for collection payment and sending advices to clients.
- Review and investigation of Nostro reconciliation to clear outstanding items.
- Advising debit advices to clients after payments.
- Knowledge of Letters of credit and LC and LC amendment
- Confidence in advising letters of credit
- Knowledge of document checking.
- Handling payments’ queries and investigations from clients and correspondent banks.
- Ensuring that the Bank’s procedures on Anti-Money Laundering are followed at all times.
- Authorising payments.
- Processing and or authorising of LC Refinances
- Other responsibilities assigned.

Support Origination of new Supply Chain Finance, Inventory and Prepayment Finance transactions collectively referred to as u2018Working Capital Financeu2019 solutions to existing and prospective new clients of MUFG in EMEA.
Prepare marketing materials to assist in origination of new Working Capital Finance transactions
Support the preparation and coordination of responses to client RFPu2019s, RFIu2019s and due diligence requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling submissions, while partnering with the broader SCF team to help continuously improve this process.
Support analytics of working capital metrics to prepare thoughtful solution-based client pitches

Our client is a global Financial institution based in the City. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Fluent Mandarin speaker to join their front office team. The role would be assisting a Team of Relationship Managers who cover Trade Finance products.
The ideal candidate would have credit analysis skills and had previous experience of Trade finance products. Training would be available for candidates who has Trade Finance experience previously in operations/middle office.
The role is 5 days in the office. Unfortunately, our client cannot sponsor, therefore they will only consider candidates that have 3+ years UK work eligibility. Mandarin is essential for this role.
