Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Lead for Traffic & Transportation to play a vital role in driving innovation, shaping strategy, and unlocking funding opportunities. You’ll lead delivery across traffic, transport, and road safety services—building strong partnerships and aligning with strategic goals such as sustainability and net-zero.
Reporting to the Head of Highways and Transport, you’ll work closely with the Greater Lincolnshire Mayoral Combined Authority and key stakeholders to deliver the Local Highway Plan and wider council ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- p>Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver street works, traffic management, road safety, and transport services.

Level 6 qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical subject.

·12a Traffic Management Foreman qualification.
·IPV qualification.
·HGV licence.
·Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations.
·Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (any bans must have expired at least 5 years ago).
·Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening (offer contingent upon results).
·Positive, flexible, and detail-focused mindset.
