You will be employed as a training designer, producing learning and training material. - A degree level of education in a training design relevant subject or proven relevant experience in this field.

- Prepared to work towards a chartered status in either CMI, CIPD, Learning & Performance Institute

Position Overview
As part of the exciting growth of CHERY, OMODA, and JAECOO in the UK, we are seeking a Dealer Training Specialist to support and enhance sales performance across our dealer network. This field-based role is crucial in ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped to deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintain high CSI scores, and exceed performance expectations.
You will work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and the Regional Sales Managers to deliver high-impact training and identify evolving training needs across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with the design and delivery of a comprehensive new starter training suite; conduct on-site induction training for existing and newly appointed dealerships
- Deliver both face-to-face and virtual classroom training as part of the sales accreditation pathway
- Provide engaging and informative training during new product launch events
- Support the creation of engaging and effective training content in collaboration with the Retailer Training Manager, including eLearning modules and classroom materials
- Provide intensive on-site training on the sales process, customer experience, and mystery shop performance to focus sites across the UK
- Deliver bespoke, ad-hoc training – both in person and online – to support evolving business objectives (e.g., app enrolment or process rollouts)
- Work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers to identify underperforming or new focus retailers and develop tailored training interventions
- Participate in special projects and training initiatives as required by the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales training within the automotive industry (OEM or retail side)
- Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, including sales processes and customer satisfaction metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of learning styles
- Ability to travel extensively across the UK (field-based role, approx. 3-4 days per week on the road)
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider training and field team
- Confident using digital learning platforms and content creation tools (e.g., LMS, Articulate, MS Office)

Position Purpose:
Support the development, field-based delivery and administration of SHEQ training programs across the UK and Ireland business. Manage and coordinate the training elements required by the Competence Management System and associated ISO certified management system, including developing training packages and administering the training framework and syllabus. Key Job Activities:

- Supports ISO and CMS certifications for the management system, including completion of internal quality audits with the support of EHS and other departments.
- Supports the administration of the BMS, including the deployment and control of documentation, and its maintenance on a SharePoint platform and company learning management systems.
- Supports the EHS team on EHS-led projects to reduce risk and support business growth.
- Performs other related duties as required or requested by the business.
Experience:
- 3 + years of experience in creating and delivering training in multiple formats. Training qualifications (e.g. PTLLS preferred), but will also consider demonstrable experience of developing and delivering training.
- 3+ years of experience supporting ISO programs implementation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), preferably in a regulated industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Experience with e-learning packages (SCORM and iSpring Suite) preferred.
- Good people person, experience working with operations staff at different levels
- Willing and able to travel extensively around the UK & Ireland (driving licence mandatory).
- A fluent English speaker and writer must be able to communicate effectively.
- Waste management or other industrial / process industry experience is desirable.

The opportunity:
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Horticultural Training Specialist who will be responsible for the training of our interior and exterior service technicians including assessing training needs for new starters, delivering plant induction programmes and ongoing plant training and development.
The role is a permanent Hybrid role based out of our beautiful HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. As well as on our client sites in and around central London. Working hours are 40 hours per week and can sometimes involve early starts from 6am to be on site with our technicians.
Key deliverables:
- To contribute to the assessment of candidates as part of the recruitment process, providing feedback on the technician baseline for all suitable candidates
- To deliver the plant induction for all new field service technicians
- To develop and deliver training as part of the Training Academy for field service
- To provide feedback to Service Managers on competence of the service technicians (based on ‘in the field’ coaching and support from the Training Specialist)
- To provide training, coaching and support as and when required to the field service teams and other departments as agreed
Requirements
What you will need:
We would welcome applications from the following with relevant experience in Horticulture, Horticultural training, landscaping, Training practices, Horticultural Managers
- Experience working as a field service technician to an excellent standard
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service 'in the field'
- Experience of coaching and mentoring other team members
