What you’ll do
In this role, you will:
- Lead and deliver a portfolio of HR digital projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Partner with HR, IT, Digital, external suppliers, and wider business teams to embed new digital solutions effectively.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across multiple levels of the organisation to ensure adoption of new systems and processes.
- Build strong business cases for digital transformation initiatives to secure resources and funding.
- Benchmark and research emerging HR technologies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Lead change, communication, and training activities to ensure successful embedding of new ways of working.
- Support governance and maintenance of core HR systems (including SAP, SuccessFactors, Workflow, and SharePoint).
- Coach colleagues on project and change management methodologies to build capability across the HR team.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking an experienced professional with a passion for digital transformation and the ability to bring people on the journey. You will bring:
- Demonstrable project management experience (PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or similar qualification preferred).
- Proven experience embedding digital change and leading adoption across diverse teams.
- Strong HR system knowledge (e.g. SuccessFactors) is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Project (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related discipline.

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Derbyshire, is currently looking to recruit a Transformation Manager for a 6 month contract on a rate equivalent to a salary of £50,269/annum (pro rata). This would be Inside IR35. The role can be worked on a hybrid basis with presence required on site in Swadlincote one day per week.
Responsibilities:
- To work with and provide professional expertise and constructive challenge to Services to enable them to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and respond to changing requirements.
- The development and delivery of the Transformation Strategy and associated action plan, including advising on the strategic approach and governance arrangements for the Programme Management Office (PMO).
- Promotion, support and co-ordination of benefit realisation. Both as a driver for improvements in business cases and also following project milestone completions.
- Work with services in the definition and agreement of transformation requirements, including options appraisals, service design and change management.
