Transport Planner – The Role:

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising transportation strategies and schedules to ensure timely, cost- effective, and sustainable movement of goods or people

Transport Planner – Key Responsibilities:

- Administration of lorry tachographs, vehicle insurance updates, tax changes, and OCRS score monitoring

- Purchase order processing, invoice authorisation, and liaison with company insurers

- Monitoring machinery and vehicle hours; arranging services, repairs, MOTs, oil samples, and maintaining all related reports and rectification records

- Handling skip and RoRo bookings via calls and emails; ensuring delivery documentation and vehicle checks (inside/out, Sat Nav, height measuring) are completed with photos

- Conducting quarterly driving licence checks and supporting general fleet compliance

Transport Planner – You:

- Previous experience in transport planning, fleet administration, or logistics coordination is preferred

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

We have an opportunity for a **Principal or Senior Transport Planner** to join our Mobility Planning Team. There is flexibility around the location of this role, with potential WSP home offices being our **Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester or Newcastle** offices.
