Working on high-profile projects across the Midlands and beyond, you'll take a leading role in producing high-quality deliverables and advising clients.
Responsibilities include:
·Preparing and reviewing transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, and feasibility studies.
·Carrying out junction modelling and traffic impact assessments using software such as LinSig, Junctions, TEMPro, and TRICS.

About You
·A degree in transport planning, geography, civil engineering, or similar.

·Working towards, or already holding, professional accreditation (CIHT, TPS, ICE).

Transport Planner role - Paying up to £35k you will work 4 on 4 off (4AM - 4PM) - post probation you will be able to work from home a couple of days a week.
This Transport Planner role is commutable from Clowne, Maltby, Worksop & North Anston areas.
As the Transport Planner you will require experience of reactive planning / next day or often same day planning. You will be planning routes for all categories of vehicles from Class 1 lorries to flat beds across multiple contracts for construction based customers. You will be working for a Blue Chip supplier of a complete range of construction equipment across the region who are looking for an organised lead planner to join their professional team. You will liaise daily with sub-contractors, third party transport firms and agencies to secure additional drivers to fulfil bookings.

Our client are a well established (over 40 years) UK Transport, Haulage and Pallet Distribution business based in Wakefield , West Yorkshire
Due to gowth they are recruiting for a General Haulage Transport Planner to work as part of small close team within a growing family business.
The role will be working alongside the transport manager with a focus on next day to 3 day planning for a fleet of 20 wagons including a large number of tramper drivers.
Daily interaction with customers via email and telephone for live bookings and pricing negotiation are a key part of the role so customer service skills are essential.
The role will also involve some compliance duties with a CPC qualification desirable but not essential.
Geographic knowledge of the UK and it's road networks along with an ability to price loads accordingly is highly desirable.
30-35,000 base salary depending on experience,
