**Job Description**
The Services Delivery Manager owns the project's Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project, working with highly skilled teams to manage and execute software deployment, configuration, integration and testing.
- Project Execution control: Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity tracking to update Project Manager on progress, implementing the delivery with Agile methodology when applicable.
- Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM), through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management and problem management.
- Contribute to Customer management activities for technical coordination establishing trust meeting delivery commitments, together with the Project Manager who owns the Customer relationship.
- Accountable for the end-to-end project delivery to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
- Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness).
- Utilize GE Product knowledge and expertise to drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement, change management and Agile / DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Validate project scope review in coordination with the Solution Design team identifying, documenting, and estimating any change requests (CR) or project risks with mitigation plans. Work with Project Manager to communicate with customer.
- Assist tendering with the validation of the delivery model and estimations in coordination with Regional Commercial team.
- Work with Project Manager to report or resolve any process non-conformances in a timely manner.
- Ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer.
- Comply and contribute to elaboration of relevant Quality Procedures, work instructions and Processes in Quality Management System .
- Demonstrate EHS (Environment Health & Safety) leadership and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented in their area of liability.
- Demonstrates and encourages positive, customer focus with a 'can do' attitude.
Performance Measurement indicators: On Time Delivery, Cost to Complete, Committed budget (effort) deviation, Software Delivery Processes Compliance, Customer Satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Ideal subjects: Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering disciple

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
8+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our Associate to Consultant (A2C) ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) to help us grow our early-in-career talent. In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As a DPM you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions. You'll routinely engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards, whilst being responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery. You'll work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership; provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. As a DPM you are primarily focused directly or through their teams, on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and SOW's.
