Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert technical leadership and strategic direction for transportation engineering projects.
- Leading the design, planning, and implementation of major transportation infrastructure schemes (e.g., highways, railways, airports, urban masterplanning).
- Managing complex, multi-disciplinary project teams and ensuring the highest quality of technical output.
- Developing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that address modern transportation challenges.
- Serving as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships with public and private sector clients.
- Contributing significantly to business development activities, including bid preparation and client engagement.
- Mentoring and developing senior engineering talent within the organisation.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Undertaking critical reviews of designs and project deliverables.
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with significant post-chartership experience in transportation engineering.
- A distinguished academic record, likely with a Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering large-scale, complex transportation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation planning, design principles, and relevant software suites.
- Exceptional leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage significant project budgets and commercial aspects.
- Strong track record in client relationship management and business growth.
- A forward-thinking approach to sustainable and smart mobility solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and government officials.
- Willingness to travel as required, while based in the vibrant hub of London, England, UK .
