Supply Chain Manager - Derby
Full-Time | Permanent | Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee inbound/outbound logistics, procurement, scheduling, and inventory management across a multi-site environment. You will lead the UK supply chain team, ensure delivery of high-impact sourcing projects, and contribute to a strategic procurement plan aligned with our overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimise the S&OP process to ensure alignment across sales, operations, and finance.
- Drive inventory efficiency while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage sourcing and supply chain projects with tangible business value.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to foster innovation and improve performance.
- Coach and lead a team with a focus on development and delivery excellence.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience in a senior supply chain or procurement role
- Strong understanding of the Strategic Sourcing Cycle and working capital processes
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities
- Experience in discrete production or project-based business environments
Desirable:
- Procurement/supply chain qualifications (e.g. CIPS)
- Previous experience in a regulated or technical industry
- SIOP and/or IBP implementation and leadership
