We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Planner based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Supply Chain Planner role
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Location: Luton
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends
Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner
- Plan inbound deliveries to meet customer requirements whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Coordinate and liaise with Suppliers and Logistics providers.
- Develop and execute production plans.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports on KPIs.

Requirements for a successful Supply Chain Planner
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
- Proven Supply Chain Planner experience.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management and logistics.
- Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and proficiency in using supply chain management software (ERP systems).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join our continually expanding international company, working in the Supply Chain Department based in our Swindon Head Office.
As the Supply Chain Planner, you will utilize historical sales information and be responsible for calculating required stock levels of all product ranges. Maintaining and improving stock availability. The role involves managing all aspects of stock control, including order processing and replenishment. The role is also responsible for developing the forecasting of products through analysing previous sales.
General duties will include:

The Supply Chain / Production Planning Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production and supply chain process. This role supports the planning and coordination of material and production schedules, maintains accurate inventory records, liaises with suppliers and internal departments, and contributes to the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain.
Production Planning:
Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints.
