We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Planner  based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. 

Summary of the Supply Chain Planner role 

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Location: Luton 
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner

  • Plan inbound deliveries to meet customer requirements whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Suppliers and Logistics providers.
  • Develop and execute production plans.
  • Analyse supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports on KPIs.
  • Risk management. 

Requirements for a successful Supply Chain Planner

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
  • Proven Supply Chain Planner experience.

  • Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and proficiency in using supply chain management software (ERP systems).

The Supply Chain / Production Planning Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production and supply chain process. Production Planning:
