This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy, patient-focused service that provides exceptional care across the full endoscopy pathway, from pre-assessment and procedures to recovery and safe discharge.nIn this role, you will apply your specialist endoscopy knowledge and clinical expertise to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will play a key part in supporting patients through diagnosis and treatment planning, while also contributing to service development and mentoring junior colleagues.nThis is a hands-on role requiring endoscopy experience and the confidence to rotate across all areas of the unit.nThis role is based on an internal rotation contract, working a variety of shift patterns between Monday and Friday, 07:30 to 20:00.nKey DutiesnDelivering safe and effective nursing care across all areas of the Endoscopy UnitnSupporting patients and their families through diagnosis, treatment, and recoverynSupervising and mentoring junior staff, students, and HCAsnAdministering medications and assisting with specimens and biopsiesnParticipating in the Endoscopy on-call servicenEnsuring compliance with infection prevention and health and safety policiesnContributing to audit, research, and continuous quality improvement initiativesnSkills and Experience:nRegistered Nurse (NMC)nProven experience in endoscopy nursing is essentialnExcellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressurenA collaborative, flexible, and caring approach with a commitment to patient-centred carenWillingness to rotate through all areas of the Endoscopy Unit and participate in on-call dutiesnBenefitsnWe offer a range of benefits including flexible working and great career opportunities.
