Our client is one of the leading Construction consultancies globally in the build and delivery of Data Centres.
Due to successfully bidding the project (circa £300m) the business is looking for a design lead to assist the works operating outside of IR35. The successful applicant will have a portfolio of delivering Data centres and oversee a team of two design managers.
The initial phase of works is six months with a further two years of works thereafter. There is an NDA upon this project hence the limited information on the specification however if you have a demonstrable track record of Design Lead works within the Data centre sector and based on the key criteria outlined, the NDA can be opened out & turnaround to commencement can be swift.

This role will focus on merchant and consumer experiences , shaping how brands are represented in search and commerce platforms.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team spanning London, Zurich, and the US, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver research that drives meaningful product and service improvements. This is an individual contributor role (no line management) with a strong emphasis on qualitative research , while also leveraging quantitative methods where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end UX research for medium- to large-scale projects, with minimal oversight.
- Plan, design, and deliver research using a range of qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry) and lightweight quantitative methods (e.g., surveys in Qualtrics).
- Analyse and synthesise research findings into actionable insights that influence product direction.
